They also dropped a fucking 200 USD collectors edition!?!?!
now maybe I dont buy games enough but this price is ridiculous for what you actyally get in the package. Go pay someone on etsy to make a bibo figurine and get some better looking fake plants. jfc this is LAZY konami. and for 200 dollars?! I could get my friends to do something better. Shame on konami.... Other than that, it was great to see David Hayter speak, boy he has been getting lots of work lately between this konmai work and the didyouknowgaming video(s) I'm glad! its good to see him around. anyway, OCENYA BLAST

It is insanely eye opening to see how people thought of big boss back then. Anything besides solid snake was bad! It's really funny seeing how they complained about the protag being BB from the very beginning!
God, I'd kill for a mag covering MGS2...not even for the warren comics, I'd just love to own physical evidence of their seething! Happy reading!

MGS timeline shenanigans: FMAB edition

One thing I've started doing recently to amuse myself is to look up anime airdates/notable internet drama events and see where they line up in the MGS timeline. Just found another one!
April 26th, 2009: Episode 4 of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, "An Alchemist's Anguish", airs.
April 29-30th, 2009: The Big Shell Incident.
I'm just having a very fun time imagining Otacon watching the new Fullmetal Alchemist anime in his spare time, seeing the Nina episode in its newly incarnated form, and then watching Emma die three days later. Really makes you think!
